Just when I thought my female was finished laying eggs since she is a 1st time breeder, BAM two more eggs!:D She laid her first clutch on Jan. 31. These were the eggs that hatched and that I took pics of. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they're fertile.

Has anyone ever heard of cresties laying clutches 2 months apart?

Don't think I've ever experienced that in R. ciliatus, but has happened in other species I keep (oedura and phelsuma for example). Usually its the case of the temperature being a bit too low or the female being otherwise stressed out. It could also be a deficiency in calcium reserves for egg formation. I wouldn't really be suprised if there were other stimulants to "egg-holding"?
