is there anybody whos used albeys method on repashys superhatch? if so how did it work?

are you talking about how the medium is weighed and then water added to it based on the mediums weight?
you do not have to do that with super hatch, just add water, let it sit for a while, drain, let it sit for a little more, then its ready to use.
The clay will absorb all the water and hold it in small capillaries* inside. The clay will then release the water very slowly. I have never had a container dry out.
I would recommend using a few small holes in the container though to allow for some air exchange. I suffocated a few eggs, doing the once a week air exchange, because I had too many eggs in the size of the container I was using.
