Anybody else get scratches on their arm when having their Leo climb on them?

Well seeing as they have sharp little claws, it makes sense you'd get scratched. xD Crested have some sharp claws too- Nigel always cuts me up. X_X

Give them some rough textured rocks to climb around on, it'll help keep their claws filed, so to speak.

Yeah, it sometimes feel like their claws are clinging onto my skin if it's sharp enough, and it itches a little, too.
If anyone here owns a tegu or monitor, or anything big, how are their claws?

Sometimes really really tiny scratches that are irritating more than painful

My cresties claws feel a bit itchy when he's on me, but I've never seen scratches. I had an iguana when I was a kid and have a uromastyx now; their claws can scratch you pretty good. I trim my uro's down when it gets too bad though, so it's never been a problem.

since i put natural slate as a substrate i do not have the scratching issues anymore!!!! the slate seems to file the little buggers down.
