i usually throw in 8 in a dish at night and take out whats left in the morning, sometimes he leave 4 sometimes he eats them all.... how about wax worms?

Wax worms aren't that great for them nutritionally and they can get hooked on them-not all geckos do -but it would be like offering a child the choice of a bowl of vegetable soup and a piece of candy-lol

Just keep doing what you are doing with the meal worms and your little gecko should steadily gain weight if it doesn't have an internal parasite problem

Have you weighed this little one yet?
She's soooooo tiny and cute

Yeah, wax worms are like candy...yummy, but not good for you. Just keep a dish of calcium in her tank at all times and feed (4-8) small mealworms at a time. For little ones more frequent smaller meals are better than huge meals. Some geckos will gorge themselves and then regurgitate to food. Also, dust the worms in a Vitamin powder (we prefer Herptivite) once a week.
