Most bearded dragons brumate (like reptile hibernation) in the fall/winter and mine has been no exception. I always assumed that what triggered brumation was the duration of daylight since my house never really gets cold. Last week when it was rainy and cool it looked like he was ready to sleep --no interest in crickets and not much activity. This week it's been up in the 80's and he's on the go again! Here he is tracking down crickets:
