HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT!

Last season, we partnered up with Darling Geckos (www.facebook.com/darlinggeckos) for a very exciting project. We've decided it's time to let the world know about our progress.

Angela and Tony of Darling Geckos are owners of the only pair of pure Black Night leopard geckos in the United States. Ben and Brenda, of Fire n' Ice Geckos approached Darling with an idea. We offered to buy them a Super Snow Eclipse female to pair to their male Black Night to start a "Pied Black Night Project". Much to our excitement, they agreed! According to the originator of the Black Nights, this pairing had never been done. (The female is pos het Tremper and is currently being tested)

This pairing produced two males and four female Mack Snow het Eclipse Black Night crosses. They were darker than normals but nowhere near BN dark. Darling shipped a 1.2 to us and kept a 1.2 group for themselves. We both paired them up this past winter/spring.

On April 26th, 2016, the first egg hatched! We found a "normal" hatchling in the incubator. So we missed all the genes, though it was much darker than any "normal" we'd ever produced. Two long days later, it's clutchmate hatched. We were over the moon to discover a Super Snow Eclipse Black Night cross had hatched!

To this point, two more have hatched here, with eggs still incubating, and a female still laying. The hatched babies would include a Mack Snow Black Night cross het eclipse and Reverse Striped Mack Snow Eclipse Black Night cross. Darling Geckos also has a Mack Snow Eclipse, a Super Snow Eclipse, and a normal, as well.

In this album, you will see the hatch photos of all animals from this project.

We are very hopeful, and will keep photographic records of all progressions and keep you all informed.

NONE OF THESE WILL BE FOR SALE THIS YEAR.

Thanks!
The price will be completely dependent on quality of the black and how well it holds.
The original pure black nights go for around 1500 for low quality up to 3500 for all black males.
We'll likely be in between there as long as the black holds well.
But we won't be selling any this year.
