breeding question

i have a quick question...i have been putting my females into my male's cage for them to do their thing. so my question is if i see them do it is alright to move the female back to her own cage or she i just leave her in the male's cage until she lays? thanks for your help

I have put mine back in their own cage, but this was my first year of breeding so that might not be how everyone does it. It worked fine for me though.
