Can't tell if my gecko is male or female, help!

(Sorry in advance for the weirdly posed photo; Little Foot is squirmy af and this was the best I could do.)

His/her tail dropped when I first got it, so I'm having a hard time distinguishing that little section under his/her tail, and whether or not it's a hemipenal bulge. If he does end up being a she, can I house her in the same cage as my male crestie? I'm unsure of their ages, but I know I got one at PetSmart and have had him/her for 9 or 10 months, and the other at Petco and have had him for maybe 6 or 7 months, and they were both pretty small but not newborn-level small when I first got them.

Looks female to me. Male hemipenal bulges in a crestie are pretty obvious even without a tail. I encourage you not to house them together because you will end up with more geckos which take more time, care and space.
