Does any one here keep these. They are also known as Namibian sand geckos. I am really interested in them and am going to try and find one at the upcoming Hamburg show. I wanted to know if these are worth keeping or not. Like are they "friendly" enough or are they like tokays. I have read up a little on their keeping but if any one has any pointers on making them underground caves or tunnels let me know. Thanks!

Thanks to Whitney, here ya go: http://www.goreptiles.com/tips.cfm?Category=Fake Rock Instructions. As you can see in the links and probably already know, these guys like a lot of sand and constantly dig and rearrange their tanks. The fake rock could be cool above the sand though. Or you could make a tunnel with it and cover the entire tunnel with sand so that it will have to dig to get to the tunnels. Sounds like fun haha.

I found a few sites for you:

http://www.sundialreptile.com/caresheet-chondro.htm
http://home.earthlink.net/~deadrats9/Chondrodactylus/Angulifer.htm - Caresheet on top

I don't know if they are "mean" like tokays, but they are not handleable. They are apparently very shy. That last caresheet tells about it.

These guys look really interesting. If you find some let me know how it goes.
