Clay holes for leopard geckos

Im a beginner
After I did a lot of research on their natural habitat I want to recreate the kirana hills in an 120*60*60 terrarium for one leopard gecko.
But my question is if I made a small clay hill with a hole in it would it be(I want to create Stone caves and clay holes over the enclosure)positiv or negativ I mean I facts like infection or fungus
Because I don't want an ungly unaturalistic plastic hide in my enclosure

I have a lot of ceramic pieces in my gecko cages including some tunnel type things and it's been fine.
