I would write her a nice letter that outlines all the reasons you should get a gecko. Maybe an easier first time lizard would be a leopard gecko though?

I can’t get a Leo for some personal reasons. I have pet experience (just not reptiles!) such as frogs, an axolotl, fish, dogs, hamsters, and probably something I’m leaving out.
I’ll try that though!
