I was on YouTube recently and I saw this guy using a large cooler for his incubator. He had heat tape in there hooked up to a thermostat. Do you think this could work or what is a better idea?? I dont want to buy a incubator since I'm on a budget. Thanks

we made one, it worked great just make sure you put the heat tape on the top of the inside of the cooler and you have a very good thermostat. my husband even made a small shelf for the egg containers to sit on. run all of the wiring and probes out of the drain hole or drill a hole of your own (if you want the wiring to come out somewhere else)

Im useing a heat mat under a container filled with sand with annother container filled with vermiculite in it, stays a constent 82
