Hi, I have a problem with my day gecko. It has something like tics/
convulsions (the video is attached). The Gecko is about 2,5 year old and its
a male. I already had this problem a year ago. The vet didn't know what it
was, but she found some parasites in the feces, so the gecko got a medicine. I saw some improvement, but it still was not good. A week later, the vet also tried to take blood from the tail, and then the tail broke off . I was worried about my gecko, but unexpectedly the tics ceased.
The tail grew back and after a year the problem came back, but now the feces are clear (they were twice examined).
I don't know what I should do. This problem has been happened for
two months. I asked some vets, but in Poland nobody knows what it is.
The gecko eats Repashy food regulary, but it has a problem/aversion with
hunting for crickets. I observed that sometimes it was abnormaly excited,
runing a lot, and now it is dejected. Sometimes the feces are also very
watery.
Do you know what it could be?
