Deli cups

Is there any reason people tend to use 8oz deli cups? Is it because they are cheaper or have some other benefit than say 4oz cups? Its just I am looking at expanding and these seem a good alternative to the more expensive sandwich tubs. I just don't get why people suggest 8oz?? Surely 4oz would be sufficient for a pair of fattie eggs?

you can get a couple clutches in an 8 oz... plus that's the size a lot of people use for shows so you can cups for eggs and shows and just order one size...

I have them around for setting up corn snake baby's but tend to use the regular 4 oz talls from a restaurant supple stores if i have them around. makes for more room in the incubator lol. i dont like to mix my clutches.
