hey all. i am in the process of getting a gecko, and so far i am looking only at leopard geckos. i like their ease of care and requirements. that is, since they are desert/arid-condition animals, they do not urinate or defecate a lot. they conserve their water and excrete urea instead of urine. also, they don't require constant humid conditions, so do not need to be misted or have wet substrate (except for a moist hide).
do any of you know of any other "arid-condition" geckos??? i really want a gecko that i don't have to mist and keep on a lot of moist substrate. i understand that leopard geckos are about as low-maintenance as geckos come. any other suggestions???
Thanks!!
i didn't know what section to put this under. if you're a mod, feel free to move this to a more appropriate section!
