Did my leopard gecko just scream?

Well, I was sleeping in a recliner as a pre bedtime nap and, some thing emitted 4 tiny screams, like a toddler who was angry, but not as loud.... it came from my gecko room and Moon is the only one in it.... I went in and tuned on a light to find him hunting a wayward cricket. Did he do that?

Do you know why?? Just hunting and excited??

Seems to me they mostly do it as a call to other geckos. My guess is it's a happy thing!

I hear all kind of noises in my gecko room (also known as my living room) from little chirps to occasional shrieks.
