DIY incubator

has anyone made themselves an incubator? i was just wondering if this is a good idea. i will probably just go out and buy one, but knowledge is beneficial

There are a few threads on GF about making your own incubator. I've heard about people making it out of a fish tank, wine cooler, refrigerator, igloo, etc. You can pretty much make an incubator out of any container as long as you have a heat source and a thermostat. I know I'm being vague, but I hope you get the idea since you're going to get a hovabator anyway. =)
