I am looking at getting a Leo, and I'm not sure if I need to buy a powdered vitamin if I gutload my mealworms. I will still dust with calcium and offer a dish of calcium, but does gut loading get the gecko all of its nutrients? Thanks!

At the very least, you need some D3 or the gecko will not be able to process calcium. I would highly recommend a vitamin powder though. Unless you are going to spend a ton of time researching and varying your gutloads to try to cover all important vitamins and trace minerals, you'll be better served investing in good vitamin and calcium supplements.

If you're looking for something easy, you can buy Repashy Calcium Plus for dusting food and pure calcium (no D3) for in the cage. There are also plenty of other supplementation methods out there, so do some online research and decide what's right for you.
