do you delay incubating...

I notice in some videos on incubating eggs that the breeder sets up maybe 10 or so eggs in one container. I've always set up each clutch in a deli cup and popped it into the incubator. Do those breeders have 10 or so eggs laid on the same day?!! (i.e. many gravid geckos) Or, do they just pull each clutch, set it aside, and wait until they have a group before preparing for incubation? Just wondering. Thanks for any explanation.

Many larger scale breeders don't check for eggs everyday but rather every few days. If they have 50+ females all laying eggs every 2-3 weeks it isn't hard to imagine they will have days when they find a lot of eggs. It is best to set up the eggs as they are laid, waiting too long will likely result in some unhappy consequences.
