Hi, I'm getting a leopard gecko in a few months and was going to start setting up a Dubia roach colony. What do I need to do this, and how many/what age Dubias should I get?
Thanks!

thank you! I have decided that ordering the dubia roaches online monthly is better for me, it is a bit much for only one!

At present I order some bsfl, mealworms and dubias from the same place.
I have thought about a mealworm colony, but with one gecko, and it eating 2-3 times a week for most of its life, I think that is a bit of overkill.
Now, since it will eventually get a naturalistic semi-arid setup, I think I will have a few of the darkling beetles in there for clean-up, plus Isos and springtails.
As I understand it, adults have been known to eat a beetle or two. Mine's nowhere near even being a solid juvenile so I don't think that will be an issue.
