Earthworms

I went outside in rainy weather, and put a few worms in a container of mud. They were originally meant to be for my newts, but one newt wouldn't accept one so I fed it to my leopard gecko, Reico. He loved it! Has anyone tried feeding earthworms to their geckos? I'm not really sure which species aren't able to eat them.

I'm not sure which species shouldn't eat them anyway but I think your run of the mill earthworm or nightcrawler is pretty harmless. Don't quote me on that, but that's what I would assume.
Are earthworms easy to come by where you live?

When it rains, there are a lot! Yes, they are easily available in stores, but I figured, why not get them for free? :p

I'm not too sure if it's safe or not, but I personally wouldn't feed them anything I caught outside. You never know what earthworms have in their bodies. Chop one open, theyre pretty much just filled with dirt/poop. There might be fertilizer or other chemicals in your dirt as well that can be harmful to leos.
