Egg Bound?

How long can a Leo be gravid before worrying about egg binding? What are signs of egg binding?

one of my girls has been gravid for at least three weeks already, possibly more, She's really fat, and lays around in the vermiculite box a lot, but nothing. Are there ways to induce egg laying?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated

also, the weather has been outrageous, and i have no air conditioning, yemps over 100 degrees, ive turned off all heating and have ice at the ready, but keeping 'optimal temps' is hard

As long as the female is still eating she is not ready to lay her eggs yet. Some signs of distocia (egg-binding) to watch for would be anorexia for more more than a week, weight loss, lethargy, obvious signs of pain such as not wanting to open her eyes, or severe distress. Make sure she has an appropriate place to lay her eggs...

She is active and eating, and is very healthy in all otherm ways, she has a box full of moistened vermiculite.
