I had a gecko egg which haven't hatched for 75 days so I cut it open and I found a fully development with marking like the raptors dead baby gecko can you help me please on why it might have happened and also I keep on getting infertile eggs and is it best to leave the uv light on in the incubator or not and I have set the temperature to 30 oC

You don't need any light at all in the incubator, just a steady heat between 80-88F. At 30C the eggs should have hatched much sooner. I just had a baby die inside the egg just after slitting the shell. It happens. You may be getting infertile eggs because it's the females' first times, the male or female may be infertile, or their supplementation may not be good enough for well developed eggs. Good luck in the future.
