Egg...please help..

Okay so nips had her baby this morning and me nor my boyfriend were home, when we got home we realized the male gecko stepped on it so it's got 2 indents. my little nips was wrapped around it protecting it. the egg is hard and still intact just dented I'm not sure what to do...

I'm no expert with breeding but that little egg may be history at this point...
It's still exciting that she's laying though!

If its hard, its probably too late. She needs a nice deep chamber full of dirt, moss or eco-earth to lay the eggs in. She'll lay more in 12-18 days.

If she laid only one, it might not have been fertile...

Mkay well i hope their fertile. She's royally pissed off at everyone for taking her egg. She snapping at all of us and just laying where the egg was.

Sometimes they just lay there because they are tired!!! Mine don't seem to watch over the eggs after they're laid. But I do think they protect the lay site, because they'll want to use it again and again.
