Hi I am incubating 2 Giant Day Gecko eggs in my homemade 10g incubator. They are being incubated at 80-82F / humidity 80-90% in a small plastic container in very moist vermiculite bought at Lowes hardware store. They've been in there about 2 weeks and I just checked them and found one cracked an these white worms on them. What are these worms?? Could they crack the eggs??

Sorry, I'm not sure what they are and it's hard to tell if they are responsible for cracking the egg or if the egg is no good and consequently you're seeing the worms that were in there already eating the egg.

They were actually on the good one. They seemed to have blood vessels in both eggs after the first week. Do eggs die that easy?
