Eye infection

Hi,

My gecko is experiencing some sort of eye infection. His left eye is constantly shut. I've been giving him warm baths and dousing his eye with saline solution. This appears to help, because it is the only time he'll open his eye. From that, I've taken some pictures. I'm not sure how it all started, but it appears I quarantined him too late. My female is also beginning to shut her right eye.

I'm not sure if this means it's bacterial or what. I've been doing some research online and have read about similar cases. There are two prescriptions I've been thinking about getting... Gentamicin eye ointment and Baytryl. But I'm not a doctor and I'm not sure if it's the best course of action. The only reptile specialist near me is two hours away. I was hoping to get an opinion from the GF community before I take him in.

Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
