Hi , recently my female 3 month old leopard gecko will only eat mealworms in a bowl , i would like to give her the enrichment of hunting down the food.She also only eats it when the lights are off in my bedroom , is this normal or not?

These geckos get their own ideas of what they want to do. Some of them only want to hunt, some want to eat out of the bowl and some want to be held and fed. You may be able to train your gecko to do what you want them to, but it's usually more the case that they get you trained to do what they want you to do. They do change their habits sometimes, so it's worthwhile trying what you want and also giving them what they want. Your gecko may be more interested in hunting for crickets than mealworms, which don't move much.
