Lighting is actually candelabra sockets wired in series and put on a switch in the cove of the 2 towers. They are only used for brief viewing and are actually very dim being only 4 watt nightlight softwhite bulbs.

Very nice to finally see this. You did a great job. I'm actually questioning if I should just do hinges now instead of sliders. It would be much easier removing the slate that way. Hope mine turns out as nice.

Perfection it is not lol but they came out satisfactory. I am kind of a perfectionist. I do like the doors just folding away though. Only problem is it sitting flush to the edges so I am going to place 1/4 round along the sides so there is no gap for little feet to get stuck in.

Plant is plastic all though I have been considering figuring out a way to set up some succulents in there for easy care. Lights are just your standard 4w nightlight bulbs I wired in series with candelabra sockets on a switch. Which hardly ever get turned on unless they are needed for viewing inside the tank.
