Hi! This has always kind of been a long time dream of mine, to breed a pair of leo's and go through the whole process. I bought a Male Bell sunglow, and a female hypo tangerine about 2 years ago. I waited until they were both of good age, and when the female was an appropriate weight. Now before you say anything, yes I already have homes for all the babies if my girl is indeed pregnant. on the first of Feb, I noticed my female was ovulating and put her with the male, within seconds they locked and did their business. Note- this was the first time any of them had ever attempted to be breed. After the fact, I remove the female and set her up a moist eco earth lay box just in case copulation was good, and she had been fertilized. I have been checking on her daily and have notice much change in her belly composition. The ovulation spots became bigger and now I do believe she has 2 eggs inside her, and is about ready to pop, at least I think. Anyway, despite my observations, I would like to confirm that she is pregnant from all you guys who go through this on the regular:) Hopefully you will be able to judge from the pics. Thanks!

You can see her belly is dragging pretty good, and she has also lost a good bit of weight of her tail in the past 16 days.
How much longer before she lays? My research told me 16 to 22 days after copulation.

It could be soon and it could be a lot less soon than you think based on my experiences. Happy waiting!
