I'm really hoping for high contrast Bold striped snows. The Emerines color is so intense, these pics are no where near accurate to her true contrast. It needs to warm up so I can take some natural sunlight pics. Thanks for all the compliments guys. I'm sure I'll be posting their offspring when they hatch.

My main project are Bold Snows. The male above was only 1 of 3 viable hatchlings from that pair and he was the first to hatch out, boy was I happy considering I thought it would take at least 2 gens to get his stripes that defined. I'm planning on breeding him back to his LB Snow mom (along with the Emerine and another "secret") so hopefully I'll have some better defined Snow Bold Stripes like the one you posted above available in the next several months. Oh and all of them i'm working with are het for Eclipse too ;)

Awesome! That's what I love the idea of breeding. It's like gambling (which I have a blackjack problem but have never lost any money!!! :)) you never know the card your going to be dealt! Hopefully you get that 21 within the first clutch she has:)

Hey Landen, I was just unsure... I know snow is a co-dom trait, and I think emerine is a double recessive; so what are your expected ratios ? What are you hoping to see? Won't the hypo trait kill off your bold striping?

Glad you asked ;) I like to think outside the box sometimes.... The SuperSnow is a co-dom so every hatchling will be a snow. Both the SS and the Emerine are from Bold Stripe lines from Kelli @ Hiss (some of the nicest BS around!), so i'll be expecting alot of variations of bold stripes & bold jungles. The Emerine trait is a line bred or polyphonic trait similar to how the Sunglow gene works, so i'll be expecting a variety of Emerine influence in these snow which I'm hoping results in some crazy contrasting Snow Bolds. On top of all of that, they are both possible het Eclipse too so each hatchling with have the possibility of showing this trait too. This pair is a genetic powerhouse and this line is being worked on from a couple different angles including the male going back to his LB Snow het Eclipse mother, and to another SS from a Snow/Montanus outcross. Lots of Snows, Eclipse, and Bold Stripes to come out of this group!

Took advantage of the nice weather today and caught some natural sunlight pics. No flash, just took them in the shade.

She is just about to go into shed too!!

Also this is another Emerine possible het Eclipse I plan to breed to my Giant Raptor in my avatar. She shows more green, but her orange is less intense and no Bold Stripe lineage in this one.
