Well, my geckos lived through their first power outage! 90 minutes without electricity, luckily it started half an hour before night light would switch on. I threw a fleece blanket over the vivs and my amazing thermostat seems to be outage proof, because it went right back into the right settings!!!
In the meanwhile we played 'go fish' by candlelight with the neighbors, it's about 25F here so it felt all wintery!!
