Give me some encouraging words please

So im not really a bug person, so give me encouraging words on beetles. I dont wanna pick them up,help me. Do they bite though?

Mealworm beetles don't bite. I pick them up sometimes just to transfer them to another container. Use tweezers gently if you're nervous.

Honestly, the beetles used to seriously scare me, but with time you just eventually get used to them.

I usually use feeding tongs for crickets/beetles. Worms I usually just do with my hands. It's not that bad, honestly. I've even fed Superworms with my fingers and never been bit. Mind over matter I guess. Now if we were talking Spiders...well...ew!

Same here. You can get plastic tongs/tweezers at a pet store for cheap, and they work great.

Mealworm and or superworm beetles do not bite. They just crawl on you...yep thats it.

I use tongs to move any insect. Mealworms and crickets aren't a big deal, mealworm beetles even (though their feet are sticky & using tongs makes it easier to get them off). Superworms and superworm beetles... I prefer not to touch with my fingers.

My husband and kids laugh at me b/c I've been known to wear latex gloves when handling bugs. :main_laugh:
They just give me the heebie-jeebies.
