My 11-year-old son got his first leo about 2 months ago: a normal female from a local pet store. We have her in a 10-gallon aquarium with a heat lamp and uth, repti-carpet, and a couple of hides. She seems to be doing very well. She was about 6" long when we got her - maybe 6 or 7 months old? She has shed twice, and is noticeably bigger. We feed her crickets, superworms, and this week we got some phoenix worms, which she seems to really like. She never showed any interest in mealies, for some reason.

Here's a pic from her first week with us. She shed not long after this was taken. Her bands have pretty much disappeared by now. I have some more recent pics, but haven't uploaded them yet.

Welcome to the forum, i've got a feeling your son is going to add a few more leo's to his collection. This site makes you an addict.
