The members who have used this product can you let me know how you like it? I'm thinking about switching from vermiculite to hatch-rite. With hatch-rite do you really not add water to it? Thanks for your input.

We like it. Watering depends on how you incubate. We use one container per female for the entire season so we have to add a couple of drops after the first few clutches. But for the most part you really don't have to add water. It feels pretty dry but there's actually quite a bit of moisture in it. You do have to make sure to seal the bag well or it will dry out though.

Thanks for the reply. I may try hatch-rite out in one of my incubators. I'm not having any problems with vermiculite but hatch-rite has caught my eye for some time now.
