hatchlings started to eat too soon

i had my first hatchilngs now. one hatched 5 days ago and the other hatched yesterday, i've put them together and gave them a dish wish 5 mealworms, and today the mealworms wasnt there
isn't it too soon for them to start eating? or 5 days is ok?
i dont think the first one had he's first shed yet so its weird...

Its not a bad thing. Some babies eat sooner then others. Nothing to worry about

next time maybe wait a week or two before feeding...( give them a chance to shed first) just make sure they have water...

The baby may have already shed and eaten it. If the gecko is ready to eat it will eat. If not, it won't.

Mine usually start eating on day four or five. Sometimes I will miss the initial shed, but when I see that tiny poop, then that is when the eating begins.:main_thumbsup:
