Heat bulb wattage question

Wondering what bulb would be best. I will set the lamp on the screen top. That will put it 12 inces above on the warm side. Its 30 inches long. Thanks in advance for replies.

In all honesty, I'd recommend an under tank heater and no heat bulb. In my opinion the heat bulb dries out the air and can dehydrate the gecko. Others may feel differently and they can tell you what wattage of heat bulb. I never use them with leopard geckos so I don't know.

50 watts 12 inches seems to be the right wattage.

There is plenty of light in the room from the south window. So im using the Reptizoo Night Heat 50 watt during the day then raise it an inch or so at night. My Leo seems good with it and eats her worms and crickets.
