I have started a new build of a racking system made from modified storage countainers. I was wondering what your opinions would be for heating it? I was thinking of using heat mats but I would need to use so many plug sockets for all of these, also would I need to have a thermostat for each mat? If not I have heard of flexwatt, could this heat the whole racking system using just the one thermostat?

Thanks!

Flexwatt could do it. I'm not a fan because I've heard of too many situations where it overheats and melts plastic. If you're in a situation where you don't need the heat source to be absolutely flat (the main advantage of flex watt), you can get heat cable (made in different lengths by Zoomed) and use it. I have a rack I bought that has heat cable stapled along the back wall so the tubs butt against it when installed.
