Hi everyone! Not a gecko owner yet, but this looks like the place to get some advice and information to get started with. Ive only owned anoles in the past as far as reptiles go, so Im looking forward to owning something different and rewarding like a gecko. Current owner of 4 rats and 2 rabbits, so something cold blooded will be a nice change of pace. Between the search and asking questions hopefully I can find out what gecko is right for me, although right now Im leaning towards a leopard from what Ive read.:grin2:

Welcome! You've found the right place! It'll be hard to pick between all of the geckos but leos and african fat tails are the best to start with. They are the calmest and easiest to care for. Have fun!!!!

Thanks for the welcome, it looks like I will probably be a leopard owner within the next few weeks.
