help Egg??

Ok so the fat tails I've had for like a week that I found out are wild caught have a egg in the castle den they got put is flat like paper . it could have been in there for like a week and I didn't see it tell now. But these fat tails are what I would say are mean so they don't like to be touched and I know there's one male and three females .are they suppose to drop one egg or two is my question. Should I take the moss out of the cage so I can spot the eggs quicker and save them . Would it be all right to just have a moss hide and a cold hide and use paper towels instead of moss substrate that way I can see the eggs I just don't wanna stress them but I don't want dead eggs eith thanks and god bless

With papertowel you need to get them before they dry out.

Leave the moss it stays moist longer. Check the entire cage atleast 3 times a day. Just gently move the moss to see if any eggs have been laid.
