Help ..pacing & twisting leo

I have a 6 month old snow leo gecko, recently hes started to pace and twist at the glass ,in front of me. This isn't to do with eating, I have twice taken him out when it's happened and he's very " clingy " loves being out and climbing on me. What's causing the twisting and pacing.

I don't know that it's an intention to be out of the cage, but who really knows? Some of mine get that way for awhile and then they settle down. If you enjoy taking your gecko out, go ahead. From what you report it seems to like it. I don't think there's anything to worry about.
