our gecko is very sick, hes still active but has lost a ton of weight, his tail got skinny so thats when i knew something was wrong, he use to eat crickets but then was throwing them up so we switched to meal worms. he started doing better then he got even worse, hes skin and bones, and wont eat. ive called a few vet offices, unfortunately the closest vet that deal with reptiles is like 3 hours away. i think he might have parasites? he doesn't have runny or stinky poop. is there a good medicine to give him that i could get from ***** or some other pet/feed store? this is our 1st lizard, im trying to do my very best for him, im a little frustrated with how little the pet stores and vets know about him, and even myself. can other pets or humans get these parasites? ive done some reading on feeding them baby food w meal worm "shakes" when sick is this a good idea? hes about 4 years old im guessing. any help would be greatly appreciated..a 6 hr round trip ride is near impossible...:main_huh:
could this be something genetic?

I am a newbie but what are your temps? 2 heaters in a 10 gallon? And then the sand would be a red light since he is throwing up his food.
