I have been hand feeding for a few weeks now. My first born has only gained .5 grams where as the second born has gained 3 grams. My first born only seems to eat one or two worms and then stops. While the other seems to eat 8 - 10. I left a dish full of worms and it is shrinking. I tried feeding them by hand but nobody wants any. I started with pushing the guts out that helped in the beginning. I don't know if second born is doing all the eating or both are. I am tracking the weight every 3 days now to see if I have any gains. Someone mentioned a bit of beef baby food will that be ok for them?

If they are both in the same enclosure you should separate them so you can see if they are both eating or not. The smaller one may also be being bullied and run off of the feeding bowl.

The only way to tell for sure if they are both eating is to separate them and see if the smaller one is eating and if it starts to gain weight.
