Hey! I'am Brandon and this is my first reptile as a pet. His name is Buddy. :)
I got him about a couple days ago.

I cut a hole in the side of one of those big CD containers for his moist hide and put a bunch of leaves on top of it so it would be dark, kinda like a cave. He is on paper towels for now till he heals up underneith
And he has a log to hide under on the warm side of the tank, which he stays in constantly hes in the moist one about a minute.lol

Hey Brandon, what a very beautiful leo! I really like your idea for a moist hidebox, that is really cool!

One thing though, you said the log was on the warm side of the enclosure? Is the moist hidebox on the cool side? If so, you'll need to switch them around so that the moist hidebox is on the warm side and can then become warm and humid :) He may not be going into it now because the moisture makes it cooler when the hidebox is on the cool side.
