So i just wanted to make shure i have the humidity right for the crested gecko im getting cause i heard that they can get dehydrated and nomoniae if theres to much or not enough humidity. At night when i mist it it goes up to around 85% and then drops down to about 40-50%by the afternoon before i mist it again the next night. Is that good?

sounds like a good humidity cycle! more noticeably than your gecko getting sick, shedding can be difficult for a crested in too dry an environment. also, mine drink exclusively from the water that collects in the cage after I mist. you can always add a humid hide which aids in shedding. every one of my cresteds enjoy their humid hides, and many of them spend hours a day partially buried in the moist soil, regardless of how humid the tanks are.
