Ok well i havent been on here in FOREVER it seems! Sorry ive been really busy with, and the reptiles obviously! Well i have a couple of updates. So my albino radiated kingsnake died about a two weeks after i got it. I have no idea what happened. It had eaten a pinky about five days after i got it. It had water the entire time. I double checked, temps and humidity, all fine! It had no apparent wounds on the body or anything, so i dont know! but its cage is now housing a juvenile black racer, so i guess all turned out well, i still miss him though:(! ANother death, my clown agama (Jeff) died recently. It wasnt unexpected he was doing pretty bad. i am now looking for a new vet, Jeff is now the third animal that has passed away when she (my vet) prescribed them antibiotics. On a better note, my 100% het pied bp pair are now eating 2 adult mice per snake once a week:eek:!! Also, the pastels are doing fine, the female stopped eating for awhile but it turns out she was just in shed:rolleyes:. The leopard geckos are doing fine. They will hopefully breed soon, theyve been housed together for awhile but its just now warming up in FL! and on sat i relocated a baby copperhead from my neighbors driveway (my first venomous snake relocation! :D:D)! they were going to kill it but i begged them not to so they put it in a trashcan and it i took it from there! i took some pics:

Sorry about your losses! I agree, time to find a new vet. And those are gorgeous pics of the baby cottonmouth!! I don't know if I would have gotten close enough to take pictures! (who am I kidding, I totally would :p)

Sorry if I'm late to post, I'm so sorry about the loss of you're pets :/ The last 6 Month's have been rough for me too. I lost 2 Animals in 1 week last year from different cause's which was devastating, and I made it home fast enough after faking to be sick in school to spend my time with Pepper during her last moments. I knew she wasn't going to make it. Once again I'm so sorry about your snake. Though yeah switching vet's seems like a good idea. Make sure to look at Vet Rep's on websites. People normally give notes about certain Vet's and suggest you do the same for this Vet just to warn any one else off from losing Pet's to inaccurate/overdosed prescriptions.

Yeah a Vet rep is basically the Vet's reputation. It's good to check on their skill level or if he/she is known to give over doses to animals. Agh, It sucks to have inexperienced vets out there. But yeah just check with another friend who has Reptile's and check out there Vet.

Though Yeah, Trying to get home, and stay with her was kind of hard with the nurse xD Had to put on a good act to stay home ;) But yeah make sure to check on the Reputation of a Vet before visiting, and make sure they have a specialist who is meant to deal with this exact species of the animal. Wouldn't want some one who does Ferret's saying Ive done Hedgehog's before, You need some one who does Python's mainly!
