I'm kind of surprised that tile/slate isn't offered

or sold at reptile supply places. I was thinking of going to slate/tile (use carpet now) and I thought how easy it would be to just order some pre-cut to size tile ready to go. Like for common sized tanks such as 20 gal long, etc. Someplace online to order it. Or am I just real lazy because I haven't gone to Home Depot yet to do it myself . . .mmmmm, maybe there is a market for it . . . .

I have had the same idea... It's a good think Home Depot cuts tile for free...

The only down side to herp supply sites selling tile is the weight. The shipping costs would be as much, if not more than the tile itself.

If you are going to use grout with your tile, make sure you cut it a bit smaller than you measure.

Tile wouldn't be profitable because you never have to replace it. The stores want to keep you coming back for sand, bark, etc.
