Insect Breeder Box from Old Refrigerator

Has anyone ever made an insect breeding box from an old refrigerator? I want to breed dubia roaches and mealworms, but don't want them in my house. I can get an old fridge with the electrical and coolant systems removed for $30, and was planning on installing some sort of heating element (heat tape?) that will be thermostatically controlled. I was thinning 80 degrees, with a couple fans running inside to keep air moving around and at least one fan venting. Each insect species would of course be in a different container, so I'd maintain proper humidity levels on a species by species basis. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks!

It sounds fine to me if that's what you want to do and can keep it from overheating? To be honest, my bugs are in bins everywhere. I just make certain the bins are escape proofed. :)
