Hi guys, I’m new here. So I’ve noticed what looks to be dry skin or peeling skin on the tip of my leopard geckos mouth. She’s been acting normal, eating normal but I’m not sure what it is and I can’t tell if it’s mouth rot. I’ve tried wiping it with a wet cloth but it’s hard cuz she’s always moving. What do you guys think it is ? 75520

Welcome! This is stuck shed, and not all that uncommon. Hold her firmly and use your fingernail or some tweezers to peel off the skin. She may squirm and open her mouth but if you keep your fingers out of her mouth and hold her firmly all will be well. It's not mouth rot.

Is there a technique you recommend to keep her still? It's hard to get it all off as she constantly moves and I'm afraid to hold her tight in case I squish her

Hold her with your thumb between her shoulder blades and your forefinger below her throat. That way she can't bite you. Before you try to remove shed, practice holding her so you can get comfortable.
