Lazer Pointer

Hey everyone! I have an Albino Leo names Stonie. And I was just wondering, is it safe to use a red lazer pointer to play with them? My gecko has been a little down and I'm thinking it may be because he's bored. Does anyone know about this?

As fun as it sounds for your gecko, I would not recommend it. Lasers can damage one's eyes, and with your gecko being albino, it could have a greater chance at damaging them. I'm not saying you would do it on purpose, but accidents can happen, especially if you're not ready to dodge their quick attacks, which can be random. Another thing to worry about is the lazer reflecting off of surfaces like glass and tank decor, which can be just as dangerous. Get Stonie out and let him explore. My geckos love exploring when i take them out!
