I know its required to have a heat lamp, i got that! But im confused about the other light i need, for calcium? Is it the UVB lamp? Im not sure. Im supplying my gecko with calcium powder and vitamins. Do i need more than that?
And can i use a black light? Or can that harm him? (like a black lights used in bowling allies)
Please help!

And i just got my leo wednesday (december 26th), hes just a little guy! I cant wait until he gets older. His name is Ducky :)

Lamps aren't necessary for them, heat is.
Under tank heat pads are always the way to go, heat bulbs are just to supplement heat.
Diurnal species need uvb, but leopard geckos are nocturnal, so they don't need them.
If you have a uvb, take it off, they can do more harm than good.
I use a exo terra sunglo 60w, for times when it gets cold. They're generally around $5, give or take, and they'll light up the whole tank.

Since the leo doesn't need UVB in the lights, make sure it's getting calcium and vitamin D3 so it can metabolize the calcium.
